We are a specialist consultancy led by Chartered Landscape Architects, combining professional expertise with a clear, evidence-based understanding of the planning system across England and Wales. We deliver expert landscape and townscape planning advice to support development proposals from early concept design through to planning submission. Our team specialises in the preparation of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) and Townscape and Visual Impact Appraisals (TVIA), guiding clients through complex landscape sensitivities and ensuring that proposals respond appropriately to their context.

Our work is grounded in a robust understanding of national and local planning policy, ensuring every assessment is policy-compliant, proportionate, and defensible. We combine this with detailed knowledge of local landscape character, visual context, and the capacity of a site to accommodate change, enabling the development of clear and effective mitigation strategies where required.

All of our LVIA and TVIA assessments are prepared in full accordance with the Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (GLVIA3, 3rd Edition) and other recognised best-practice documents, including Natural England’s Approach to Landscape Character Assessment. This ensures that our reports are methodologically robust, clearly presented, and capable of standing up to scrutiny during the planning and appeal process.
