What you are quoted is what you pay. We agree the scope before instruction and we work to a fixed fee — no hourly add-ons, no surprise charges, no fee creep.
From a quick desktop note to support a householder application, through to a full GLVIA3-compliant LVIA chapter for an EIA development.
A Landscape/Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment, typically required to support a planning application where landscape/townscape or visual sensitivities exist, but an Environmental Impact Assessment is not triggered.
Also available: Technical Note — £750 (+VAT) · Landscape Plans from £800 (+VAT) · Management Plans (LMP/LEMP) — £650 (+VAT)

Six factors determine where in the fee range your project sits. We will tell you exactly which apply to your site when we quote.
A 0.5 ha householder site is not the same as a 25 ha solar farm. Site area and complexity directly affect the time required.
Designations matter. Sites in National Landscapes, National Parks, or Conservation Areas require deeper baseline work and policy analysis.
More receptors means more fieldwork, more photography, and more assessment time. We agree viewpoint locations with you upfront.
Standard 15-working-day turnarounds are quoted at headline rates. Expedited delivery, where capacity allows, is priced separately.
Where the development triggers EIA under the 2017 Regulations, full LVIA chapter compliance and a Non-Technical Summary are required.
Where committed development needs to be factored in (cumulative ZTVs, sequential viewpoint analysis), additional baseline work is needed.
Location, proposal type and planning stage. A site location plan helps but isn't essential.
We assess the constraints, designations and likely policy issues. We recommend the right service tier — no upselling.
A clear scope, fixed fee and programme. No obligation, no hourly billing, no surprises.
